Watchlists

Monitor critical domains and get automated reports

What is a Watchlist?

A Watchlist is an automated monitoring tool in GeoFlux that allows you to keep a close eye on specific source domains.

While your main Dashboard provides an aggregated, top-down view of all sources driving AI responses, you likely have a few "kingmaker" publications, vital industry blogs, or even key competitor websites that you want to track individually.

By adding those domains to a Watchlist, GeoFlux will isolate their data and automatically notify you when their influence shifts.

How to Set Up a Watchlist

  1. Navigate to the Watchlists page in your dashboard.
  2. Click to create a new Watchlist.
  3. Select Domains: Choose the specific source domains you want to monitor (e.g., forbes.com, g2.com).
  4. Set Frequency: Choose how often you want to receive reports (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
  5. Assign Recipients: Enter the email addresses of the team members or clients who should receive the automated reports.

What Does the Report Tell You?

When the Watchlist worker runs based on your chosen frequency, it compiles a specialized report delivered straight to your inbox.

The report focuses exclusively on the domains you are watching and details:

  • Citations: How many times those specific domains were cited by AI models during the tracking period.
  • Brand Share of Voice: Which brands (yours and your competitors) those specific domains are recommending most frequently.

Why Use Watchlists?

Watchlists transform passive data into proactive alerts:

  • PR & Comms Teams: Can track whether a newly secured article on a major publication is successfully being picked up by AI models.
  • Competitive Intel: Can monitor if a competitor's domain starts gaining unexpected traction as an AI source.
  • Client Reporting: Agency users can easily set up automated monthly emails that deliver targeted source-influence metrics directly to their clients.
