What is Visibility?

In GeoFlux, Visibility (often referred to internally as Response Coverage Percent) is the foundational metric of your AI marketing efforts.

It answers the most basic but crucial question: "Are we showing up?"

Definition

Visibility is defined as the percentage of total AI responses generated for a given prompt (or set of prompts) that include a mention of your brand.

For example, if you track a prompt across 10 different geographical regions and your brand is mentioned in 6 of those responses, your Visibility score for that run is 60%.

Why it Matters

High visibility means you are firmly in the AI's "consideration set." If an LLM consistently includes your brand when discussing your industry or product category, you are successfully influencing its generative output. If your visibility is low, it means the model is prioritizing competitors or unaware of your offerings for certain use-cases, signaling a need to improve your digital PR, citations, and content strategy footprint for that associated Topic.
