Pitch reports
Show a prospect their own AI visibility before they become a client
The strongest opener an agency has is the prospect's own data. A pitch report shows a business you want to win how AI answers questions in its market today: which real questions name its competitors and not it, and which sites the engines rely on. You name the business, GEOflux builds a project for it and collects real answers for seven days, and you send a link. It is concrete, where a deck of claims is not.
A pitch costs nothing from any client's budget while it runs. If the prospect signs, you convert it into a paid project and keep everything it collected, so the pitch becomes the start of the engagement.
Pitch reports are for agency accounts on a paid plan; a trial is not enough. They are under Pitch reports in the Agency section of the sidebar, for owners and Admins. See Agency and client management.
How a pitch runs
- The Growth package: each pitch runs like a Growth project, on 450 credits (150 prompts), with daily runs on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and Brand Perception included.
- No personas: pitches track prompts without personas. Attach personas once the pitch converts.
- Seven days: each pitch collects for seven days from when you create it, then freezes: collection stops and the report keeps showing the week it collected. The Collection column reads Collecting with the days left, or Stopped.
- Ten at a time: you can run up to 10 pitches at once. The page header shows how many are running. When all ten are in use, New pitch report is disabled. A slot frees up when a pitch reaches the end of its week, when you turn its link off, stop it or delete it, or when you convert it.
- One per website: you cannot pitch a website that is already one of your projects, including an existing client: share that project from its Overview instead. If you already have a pitch for the website, send that one, or delete it to start a fresh week.
Creating a pitch
- Go to Pitch reports and click New pitch report.
- Enter the prospect's Brand name, Brand website and Country.
- Choose the Prompts the report measures:
- Generate them: 25 prompts across 5 topics, written after the report is created.
- Write them myself: type them or import a CSV, with your own topics and tags, up to the pitch's 450 credits (150 prompts). Useful when you know the prospect's market better than a generator does. Weight them toward Evaluate and Buy questions, in the prospect's language; see Build a prompt plan.
- Choose the document the prospect gets, from the same layouts as shared reports. The link is live from the moment you create the pitch, so pick the layout now. Short pitch is written for exactly this moment.
- Choose the Language the prospect reads it in: English, Español or Română. It changes the document's words, never the numbers or the prompts.
- Optionally add a Private note (up to 280 characters): who you are pitching, when you sent it, who to chase. Only your team sees it.
- Click Create pitch report and copy the link.
The report fills in as the first answers arrive, so it may look empty for a few minutes. The report carries no GEOflux sales messages; it ends with a short "Measured by GEOflux" line.
Managing pitches
The table shows each Prospect, its Status, Collection state, Link, Created date, Last collected date and Private note, with a search box and a status filter.
Status is where your conversation with the prospect stands: Not sent, Sent, No reply, In discussion, Won or Lost. Set it as the conversation moves, one row at a time or for several at once. The prospect never sees it.
Each row's menu has:
- Convert to project: see below.
- Copy link and View report.
- Open project: opens the pitch's project in the app with the full data. A banner takes you Back to pitch reports.
- Edit layout: change the document in the report editor.
- Turn link off / Turn link on: pause or revive the link. Turning a link back on needs a free slot.
- Replace link: issue a new URL. The current link stops working immediately, for everyone who has it, including the prospect.
- Stop report: end the pitch now. Collection stops and the link stops working. Nothing collected is deleted, and the slot goes back into your ten. The stopped pitch still holds its website, so pitching the same prospect again means deleting it first.
- Delete report: delete everything collected for this prospect: the answers, the prompts and the project behind the report. It cannot be undone, and there is nothing left to convert. Use Stop report to end the link and keep the data.
Converting a pitch into a project
When the prospect says yes, choose Convert to project from the pitch's menu. It works on a running, frozen or stopped pitch. The flow is titled "Take on [prospect] as a client of [your agency]" and has three steps:
- Plan: pick the client's plan from a side-by-side comparison. Growth is preselected.
- Agency rebate: see the rebate on this client's subscription: 35% of the plan price on every invoice until it adds up to $700. See Agency and client management.
- Confirm: review and click Confirm subscription. If your account has no payment method on file, you add one first.
When you confirm:
- Everything collected so far is kept: the prompts, the answers and the history the prospect has seen. Collection simply keeps running, daily, with no seven-day clock.
- If the pitch's link was on, it keeps working on the same URL and becomes one of the project's shared reports. A link that was off or stopped stays off; turn it on from Shared reports.
- You land in the new project. It appears in your brand selector, and its subscription is billed with your other projects.
Good practice
- Write the prompts yourself when you know the market. Generated prompts are a fair start; a set built from the prospect's real buyer questions makes a sharper case.
- Send it once the first answers are in, and follow up before the week ends. The report is live, so the prospect sees it fill in.
- Lead with the gap. The most persuasive line is a real buying question where three competitors are named and the prospect is not.
- Keep the status current. Ten slots go fast; No reply and Lost pitches are the ones to stop.
